About Me
I am Małgorzata Kirago, a Polish artist living in Poland. I like to create on medium and large canvases.
I work with oil or acrylic layer by layer, using mixed techniques. Color is the first thing that attracts attention in the paintings. I create visual artwork and textures using different materials to create structures, that can be felt in touch, showing the light play and shadows in my paintings.
I love traveling and spending time close to nature. I take photos and then transfer these memories back into the studio and intuitively paint onto canvas. The aim for me is to create a painting that has a positive and soothing atmosphere.
In the landscape I find textures and abstract forms that are attractive. It is there that the mixed techniques predominate; often I dispense with the brush and use spatulas or just use a sponge and my fingers!

If you are in Florence this month, I encourage you to step to GALLERY 360 for an exhibition "INTRODUCING ART". Among to beautiful and modern artworks you can see my "Green Horizon" acrylic painting.
This piece captures the raw, shifting emotions of isolation and hope through layered acrylics and cracking textures. I wanted to evoke a silent, vast space where quiet resilience blooms amid desolation. Imagine this energy filling your space with calm introspection and subtle strength - an invitation to breathe deeply and find peace even in the unknown.

My 2 paintings are still presented, related to Olympics.
"INSIDE THE EARTH" is a metaphor of inner stringer and hidden energy, unseen power. In the context of the Winter Olympics, the painting symbolizes the internal force that enables athletes to push beyond limits and transform pressure info movement.
The lava, fire in reference to the Olympic fire - the symbol of the Olympics which symbolizes peace, unity, frienship between nations and connection between ancient and modern games. Art has own universal language that unites nations, cultures and generations.
Winter Olympics is dedicated to Winter sport disciplines on snow and ice…and my second artwork presents the mountains from the above, from bird’s eye view. "THE SNOWED PEAKS" is an abstract interpretation of alpine landscapes shaped by cold, silence, and altitude. Through layered textures and restrained color palette, the painting evokes the challenge of reaching the summit. Presented alongside the Winter Olympics, it becomes a symbol of aspiration, resilence, and the pursuit of exellence in harmony with nature.

An important event that will bring an international artistic breath to Bologna, reaching its 18th edition thanks to Paola Trevisan and her Trevisan International Art, which has made quality and uniqueness of artistic research its mission, together with artistic sharing.
Trevisan International Art will catalyze a selected group of artists from around the world, masters of very different techniques and languages, who will share a love for experimentation, creativity and a strong artistic personality.

Eleven of my paintings will be presented during this biggest art event in Poland. A celebration of contemporary art and design presented in a modern, lighthearted format.
A massive exhibition featuring the largest number of artists and a record number of showcased works. So far, five editions have taken place, each in Warsaw, but in different atmospheric locations — from Norblin to the Karscy tenement house and Bohema.

ACRYLICS & OILS
I use acrylics as I love the fast drying time of acrylic paints. It helps in the creation of a natural flowing movement. This is my favorite and the most used technique.

CANVASES
I use high quality cotton canvases from Polish or Italian manufacturers. My paintings are ready to hang, do not require framing because the edges have been painted. All works are protected with varnish.

PAINTS & MIXED MEDIA
I work only with high quality materials. Used acrylics and oils paints are with high pigmentation & UV resistant.
